About Thalassa Cloud
Thalassa Cloud B.V., based in the Netherlands, is a private cloud company driven by a commitment to quality, innovation, and empowering the European IT landscape. Founded by seasoned cloud and software engineers with expertise in Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and telecommunications, we are a bootstrapped startup with a bold vision to transform cloud computing.
Our mission is simple: give organizations full control over where and how their applications and data are hosted, free from the constraints of vendor lock-in. We are dedicated to enabling businesses to scale on their own terms, delivering cost transparency and eliminating unexpected expenses.
We are building a cloud platform designed to simplify deployment and management, eliminating the need for large engineering teams or costly consultants. Starting with our hosted cloud platform, we are expanding to offer managed dedicated private cloud solutions and, eventually, fully self-hosted installations for customers with stringent security and compliance requirements.
Our goal is to create tools and solutions that connect platform installations, facilitating a truly decentralized cloud. This enables organizations to seamlessly run IT workloads across multiple IT vendors and data centers, avoiding vendor lock-in and ballooning costs. By combining innovation, simplicity, and autonomy, Thalassa Cloud empowers businesses to shape their cloud strategy without compromise.
